The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will foster joint efforts and synergies between the two projects, and will enable them to exchange on progress and results. It was signed in the frame of CESBA-MED’s Management Board that took place in Zagreb, Croatia, on 11-12 July.
Apart from being SHERPA’s lead partner, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Improvement of the Government of Catalonia is involved in the CESBA-MED project as partner. CESBA-MED, which is led by the municipality of Turin, aims to develop an evaluation model of neighbourhoods’ sustainability.
Several agreements were reached during CESBA-MED’s Management Board, including the official call for proposals for the sustainable MED Neighbourhoods Award, which will take place at the beginning of 2019 and will be coordinated by the Secretariat for Housing and Urban Improvement.
