CESBA MED NEIGHBORHOOD AWARD 2019 – Call for applications open

CESBA MED project launched the CESBA Neighborhood Award 2019. Participation is open to cities, districts and neighborhoods from all Europe willing to show their effort in the energy transition. The contest will select the most efficient neighborhood, according to the common CESBA's methodology, under two categories: by population (<10.000 inhabitants; 10.000-50.000 inhabitants; >50.000 inhabitants) or by sort of project (new developments; existing areas, areas under planning). The EduFootprint mobile app is ready: try it now!

EduFootprint project developed a mobile application for the calculation of schools' CO2 footprint. The app is a user-friendly interactive tool for students and teachers for experimenting the evolution of the school’s CO2 footprint. It shows how the CO2 footprint may change when specific energy-related parameters increase or decrease. The app is an easy way to understand how our behavior may impact the final CO2 emissions and to set the baseline for our behavioral change.

The App is available on Google Play Store in English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Slovenian languages. Click here for more information.

Guidelines for joint actions for energy efficiency by ENERJ

ENERJ project developed a set of guidelines to help public building owners to plan, design, implement, manage and monitor joint actions for energy efficiency. This joint approach is specially designed for small-sized municipalities within the same territorial area, with indicatively less than 10,000 inhabitants each, but can be also suitable for urban agglomerations (i.e. a metropolis and its suburbs).

KPIs-processor’s PLUG-IN for automated hierarchy of public buildings to be renovated

IMPULSE project developed a tool for the type of retrofits and energy-upgrading measures suggested for the public building stock of the pilot cities. The tool is generating automatically a list of buildings that have to be retrofitted and the measures to be implemented in each of these buildings each year.

NEW FINANCE web platform

NEW FINANCE project designed a web platform to help you search for partners within the NEW FINANCE NETWORK . The network has been set up to improve cooperation among public building owners and investors in the cooperation area. But the NEW FINANCE WEB PLATFORM is also a tool to showcase unique implementation of energy efficiency models including innovative financial mechanisms.

Discover the PrioritEE “How to” briefs

PrioritEE project has just launched a series of tutorial brochures on topics of interest such as the creation of Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAP), innovative financing of efficiency measures in public buildings as well as building envelope and sustainable thermal comfort in public buildings. The briefs are available in English, Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish languages.

Here you find the briefs. Check regularly the page for new releases!

Join the SHERPA Observers’ Network

SHERPA project's open network shares the projects results with all the members. If you join the network as observer you will have access to the full database of buildings, with different building typologies and different stages of progress. You can benchmark your local strategy on energy energy in buildings. You can also find new partners and their best practices/tool. Join SHERPA! Become an observer!

Get the SISMA SET tool and training kit

SISMA SET tool is already available! It gives a snapshot on the minimum amount of public subsidy needed to activate financial mechanisms, such as the Energy Performance Contract (EPC), and consider the investment "bankable" for the private market. The tool can be used by public authorities to understand the specific terms of a convenient procurement through EPC. The SISMA SET tool is available in Bosnian, English, French, Greek, Italian, Slovenian and Spanish.
